How to setup Google DNS on Windows 8.1, Windows 8 and Windows 7
Your local internet service provider doesn't have the fastest DNS Server (one of the factor that leads to slow browsing experience) or has blocked some of the important website such as MEGA or Google Docs, then changing your current DNS to Google's DNS would help to overcome the problem.
NOTE: Also for users who are facing problem while downloading files from my youtube channel, then just follow this post. You can revert back to your default setting, once you have completed downloading the files from MEGA.
Changing DNS server settings in windows 8.1, 8 or 7
Step 1: Open Control Panel and then select the option "Network and Internet"
Step 2: Select Network and Sharing Center.
Step 2: Select Network and Sharing Center.
Step 6: Now in the DNS Section, if there are already number listed there ,please make a note of it,if incase you would want to revert back to your original DNS once the download is completed.
Step 7: In the Preferred DNS Server section enter the value: 8.8.8.8
In the Alternative DNS Server section enter the value: 8.8.4.4
Step 8: Reboot.
